It was 1977, when I experienced my first "wow, this is cool" sun/cloud photo. It was then, that I realized it was something I wanted to continue doing. My first camera was a Kodak 126. I "graduated" to a Kodak 110 and then in 1981 I bought my first (and only) 35mm SLR. The rest, as they say is history. I still have my trusty 35mm side kick (carefully packed away in it's case) but in this day and age, its all about the ease(?) and convenience of Digital. I had a small Polaroid Digital, dropped it on vacation, and just had to buy a new one, it was a Nikon Cool Pix, I thought the zoom feature was great. But the more I used it, the more I wished I could do with it. That led me to a Konica Minolta Dimage Z20. What a find!! I still have it, but now, after only having that one since May of 2005, once again, I upgraded to a Canon EOS 20D. Through the years I have now had many digital cameras. I am currently using a Cannon 7DMKII, however my canon 70D is also a trusty side kick. I shoot with the Canon 100-400mm lens as well as the Tamaron 100-600. Since beginning this website, we have moved to the Southern Pacific Northwest and totally enjoy the migratory birds in our area. I am hoping to update the gallery and you can take a walk with me through the lens and through the years! © Tracy L. Hart
